Showing Up

Devon burst into Allora cafe in a splash of color. In her handmade cat dress, pink bow purse, bright red hair and impeccable makeup, she took a seat at a small table behind me.

While I finished up a session with her colleague, I could feel her color and her vibrancy in the room.

I didn’t ask Devon to prep at all for her portrait shoot with me for her @inside14West rebrand photoshoot. But as the Art & Design Manager, she knows the value of presence.

Just by showing up, you make a statement about who you are and how you want to be seen.

In a matter of seconds of seeing and meeting her, she educated me on her brand and how she wants to be seen in Baltimore, in the 14 West office, and wherever she goes: bold, bright, creative, surprising, unforgettable.
